Pricing and Lite version

Our goal is to make the app accessible to as many teams as possible, which is why Magic Estimations is priced below comparable apps while offering a wider range of features. Current prices are listed on the Atlassian Marketplace: Magic Estimations — Pricing.

Free options

• Small sites. Jira Cloud sites with 10 or fewer users can use the full version of Magic Estimations for free — this is Atlassian's standard free tier for Marketplace apps.
• Individual teams in larger organisations. Magic Estimations Lite is a separate free Marketplace app with the same features and a cap on the number of active sessions, participants and issues — see below.
• Evaluation. Every new installation of the full version comes with a 30-day free trial. If you are new to the app, we recommend starting with the trial to get the complete experience before deciding between Full and Lite.

Magic Estimations Lite

Magic Estimations Lite is a free, limited edition of Magic Estimations built for individual teams that want to use the app inside a large organisation without a site-wide licence. We did not limit the Lite version's features, but rather the number of allowed active sessions, participants and issues. The Lite app is not part of the current Forge migration; its future is decided and announced separately — see Migration to Atlassian Forge.

Both versions support Classic Magic Estimation, Planning Poker, Async Poker and Relative estimation games, so the rest of this documentation applies to Lite as well; the few Full-only features are marked on their pages.
